Farcing My Hand

Leftists, we need to have a talk. And by talk, I mean you’re going to shut your pieholes and listen for a bit. I know it’s a bit of a change for you, but I have something you need to hear.

I was not a Donald Trump supporter, but you are driving me to become one because you’re being dumbasses. For the better part of 2016, you have treated people who didn’t support your candidate/ideology as subhuman cretins incapable of higher brain functions. Yeah, and you wonder why you lost.

Instead of learning from your mistakes, you have been doubling down more than a blackjack player who keeps getting dealt 11s. Now, you have hatched all sorts of conspiracy theories based on little more than feelings.

Take the Russian “election hacking” for example. You guys have been trying to impeach Trump for this, even before he took the Oath of Office. Now, in spite of the fact there is literally zero evidence Russia did anything to affect the outcome of 2016 election, you guys are still throwing out the allegation as though it were gospel. As much as you want to believe Boris and Natasha were sneaking into ballot boxes and changing votes, that isn’t enough.

Let me make something crystal clear.

This. Isn’t. A. Thing. It. Was. Never. A. Thing. It. Will. Never. Be. A. Thing.

Got it? Good.

As the weeks since Election Day have come and gone, you Leftists have gotten more and more unhinged. In fact, the person in the video wailing at Trump being announced as President of the United States is now positively stoic compared to the way you folks are acting right now. Seriously, you’re elevating Maxine Waters, a Democrat not exactly known for her intellect, to be the spokesperson for the impeachment efforts against Trump? You might as well get Bozo the Clown to be lead counsel, provided he doesn’t want to be associated with actual clowns.

Then, there are the Senate Democrats doing everything they can to malign and try to obstruct Trump’s Cabinet picks whenever and wherever they can. So far, their obstruction has resulted in a grand total of…zero picks getting rejected.

When you pull stunts like these, you force people like me to defend Donald Trump. And the more crap you throw at the wall in the hopes something sticks, the less seriously I take you. And the less seriously I take you, the more I will mock you. Not that I mind the target-rich environment, mind you…

The point I’m trying to make is you’re hurting yourselves in the long run by being the immature little brats you’ve been since, oh, ever. If you want to beat Donald Trump and the Republicans, you have to present a legitimate alternative to the vision they’re presenting. And when your alternative is the intellectual equivalent of a dumpster fire, Trump and the GOP win by default.

So, let me put it this way. Start bringing your A game or get used to people like me dismissing you out of hand. And if you think I’m alone in this, think again. Grow up, or learn to love the taste failure. The choice is yours.

The Resistance

I saw this tweet in my Twitter feed during the inauguration of President Trump.

It’s from the liberal #NeverTrump crowd that is made up of snowflake Democrat Liberals and former moles within the Republican Party that left after Donald Trump got the nomination.

But when I looked at the hashtags, one of them stood out from the others. #Starfleet was right there at the end. It is a reference to the Star Trek franchise. Starfleet is the military arm of the United Federation of Planets.

And it is very fitting that this group feels kinship with this organization. As Starfleet and the UFP is very communist in outlook. And the #NeverTrump movement is as well.

Do you need proof? It’s right here on this link:

No Party

A few high profile #neverTrump groupies have publicly tweeted out that they have left the Republican Party. They send this out on social media to call attention to themselves. And it makes them look foolish.

Here’s a newsflash for those attention whores. People change party affiliation all the time. Some do it at every primary election. Others when their views change from the party mainline. And others in protest of party actions.

But the biggest newsflash for those wishing to publicize their party affiliation change is that no one cares at all. Your party affiliation only matters at primary or caucus elections, and if you want to be involved in party business. It matters on which block of political mail and phone calls you want to receive. Being “No Party” may give you everything or nothing at all.

Now if you are running for public office. Then it really matters. Otherwise no one cares about your party affiliation. Go change it if you feel you must. Just don’t bother the rest of us with it. We don’t care that you changed your party affiliation any more than we care about what you had for breakfast. So don’t go posting that on social media either.

The 3rd Party Question

The anti-Trump Republicans and Independents are looking for a 3rd Party alternative in the November election. Their goal is to force the election into the hands of the Republican controlled US House of Representatives by preventing any nominee from getting 270 electoral votes. This is a lofty goal, but possible in this election cycle.

Those leading this movement have singled out 3 top contenders for the 3rd Party nomination. Senator Ben Sasse, former Senator Tom Coburn, and former Governor Mitt Romney.

Former Senator Tom Coburn has already stated he is not interested in running as a 3rd Party candidate. This leaves the movement with the other 2 potentials.

It is important to note that Senator Ted Cruz is not in this list. This leads to many questions. Is Ted Cruz going to support Donald Trump as the nominee? Is Ted Cruz going to attempt to change the rules at the convention to win the nomination himself? Or is Ted Cruz going to start his own 3rd Party bid for the presidency? These and other questions remain unanswered for now.

The remaining 2 top picks for the 3rd Party run are very different men, not only from each other but also from the presumptive nominees of the Republican and Democrat parties.

First is the junior Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska. The very thing that was used to attack both Obama’s presidency and Marco Rubio’s campaign seems not to matter for Senator Sasse (or Cruz for that matter.) Another untested freshman junior senator is hardly what the country needs again at it’s helm.

Of course when it’s “your guy” his faults are overlooked. Even if they are exactly the same reason you opposed another candidate as in the case of Marco Rubio and President Obama.

And the last potential 3rd Party runner up is former Governor Mitt Romney. He was the GOP nominee just 4 years ago and lost to Obama’s reelection bid. So already he doesn’t have a good track record.

Mitt Romney lost in 2012 for 2 reasons. The first strike against him was his connection to “ObamaCare”. It was Governor Mitt Romney that created it’s forerunner “RomneyCare” while he was at the helm of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The other is Mitt Romney is not an evangelical Christian. He is a member of the Mormon Church, seen by many evangelicals as a false teaching and a cult. Thus many evangelicals stayed home in 2012 which caused Mitt Romney to loose the election.

But now the evangelicals who rejected Romney just 4 years ago are welcoming him with open arms as their 3rd Party nominee choice. These 3rd Party pushers are nothing but hypocrites. They are not voting for their moral convictions. They are not voting for the Constitution or the principles of Liberty. No, they are voting to keep their own power, wealth, and influence on American politics and public policy.

They are evil and corrupt. No better than Hillary Clinton or any other wolf in sheep’s clothing. The need to be excised from the political landscape. They are responsible for turning our political process into the cesspool most see it as today.

3rd Parties don’t work in our 2 party system. You can always change which 2 parties are in control by changing how they do business. But that change always has come from within the parties and not from outside of the parties.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum

I see people and groups on various social media sites with the dual hashtags of #neverHillary #neverTrump. In a two-party political system like we have in the United States this is just plainly ignorant.

The two hashtags are mutually exclusive. In the United States we have only two parties with any chance of winning a presidential election. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party, all other 3rd parties will never see the Oval Office.

If someone is #neverTrump, then they are against the (presumptive) Republican nominee Donald Trump for President. Which means they are either voting for the Democrat nominee, throwing away their vote on a 3rd party protest candidate, or simply not voting at all.

In any of the above voting actions, not supporting the Republican nominee leads to a Democrat victory in the presidential general election. It’s just plain factual history. The Republican’s would have won in 2012 if the Evangelical faction didn’t stay away from the polls. But that faction didn’t want to vote for a Mormon nominee for President.

Likewise, if someone is #neverHillary, then they are against the (presumptive) Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton. Again this means they are either voting for the Republican nominee, throwing away their vote on a 3rd party protest candidate, or simply not voting at all.

Just as the last example, the only option that helps the Republicans win the White House is if the #neverHillary voter does vote for the Republican nominee. All other possibilities do not help that cause. And rarely has a registered Democrat ever gone against the party nominee. It just doesn’t happen. So most of those voters supporting the #neverHillary tag are either Republican’s or Independent voters.

If you are both #neverHillary and #neverTrump then you are ignorant of our political system and history. You need to get off the fence and choose one or the other to support. We have a binary system here, there isn’t a 3rd option that is viable.

Against Hillary is to be Pro Trump. Against Trump is to be Pro Hillary. All other perceived options are false. They are illusions and shadows. They are not real. But they will lead to a real victory of the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton in the White House come November if believed.

So let’s be clear here

Okay so you are a #neverTrump voter. And there are absolutely no conditions that would cause you to vote for Donald Trump in the November election. Which means you are either not voting at all, doing a 3rd party candidate or write-in, or voting for Hillary Clinton.

I do admire you sticking to your convictions. That is an admirable trait and one that is normally lacking in most people.

It’s a fact that our culture has drifted far from that of our founders. As a people we are unprincipled, liberal, and almost anti-Christian. These facts have been admitted by a number of those who started the #neverTrump hashtag.

We, as a society, didn’t get to this point overnight. We didn’t get to this point in the last 2 elections. This has been a slow decline over decades if not longer.

Given the state of our society why does it seem to surprise you that the more conservative, principled, and Christian candidates lost the nomination? Our society is against these God honoring men. Even if they could be nominated, it would be almost impossible to win the general election in November.

Our state of affairs happened slowly over generations. It can be stopped and reversed. But it will take time to accomplish. Not a single presidential election or 4 year term.

It has been said by those in the #neverTrump leadership that the conservative equivalent of the RINO “we can’t shut the government down” is “we can’t let the Democrat win”. They are in no way an equivalent statement.

If we do “let the Democrat win” in November. It will be a greater evil than electing Donald Trump as President. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Like staying home and not voting or splitting the GOP vote.

When Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders are in the White House. Liberty will be further eroded. Christian values will become fully outlawed. And conservatives will be openly targeted for persecution by the government at all levels and in the work place.

And the Supreme Court and lower courts will be filled with lawmaking progressive justices. And this will cause lasting harm for decades and generations to come in our nation.

With Donald Trump in the White House. Things are cloudy to be sure given his past. But Donald Trump does listen to the advice of others. An evangelical pastor, Gov Mike Huckabee is a good friend of his. Donald Trump is open to conservative ideas. Someone just needs to take him under their wing and guide and nurture that openness. As a Christian you are required to preach the Gospel to every creature. That includes Donald Trump. But you instead pass judgement on him. You sit on your high horse and talk of your righteousness as the Pharisees of old did in Jesus’s day.

So get off your high horse. Pray for Donald Trump. Bring the Word to Donald Trump. And vote for Donald Trump in November.

#neverTrump is the new Occupy Wallstreet

#NeverTrump is not a grass roots movement. It was started by political insiders that have a lot to loose during an anti-establishment administration. Like the fraudulent “Occupy Wall street” crusade before it. These insiders have duped a number of otherwise good Republicans into following their narrative like sheep.

We are just a few weeks away from the Republican State Convention in Iowa. And if you are a follower of this so-called movement. Then I have the following to say to you.

Wake the <blank> up.
Donald Trump is going to be the GOP nominee. He is now running unopposed in the remaining primaries. It was stated at the beginning of this presidential contest that ANY of the 1 potential nominees would be better than Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. And that ANY included Donald Trump.

Many of the insiders that started the #neverTrump insanity are changing their voter registrations to “No Party”. If you feel the same way then please by all means get of the GOP.

If you are a #neverTrump follower and a delegate to the state or National Convention. Please resign now. Turn in your credentials so we may replace you with someone who will support the party nominee.

Donald Trump has his faults. I have no illusions on this fact. But he is better than what we have had in the last two terms of Obama. And he is better than having Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in the White House for the next 4 years.

I know that Donald Trump doesn’t have the best conservative record and isn’t the best conservative candidate. But we cannot win on that ticket right now. Our society has drifted too far from the principles. We need to shift it back, but it will take time. Donald Trump is just the first stage of that plan.

He has had my vote since the Iowa Caucus. And he will have my vote in November. Will he have yours?
