The Price is Wrong

President Obama has set the price … for an American Citizen. That price is $100,000,000. The amount paid for each of 4 hostages held by Iran.

After a long denial the State Department has finally stated that the $400,000,000 payment to Iran was used as a “negotiating tool” to free the captive men. This is a complete reversal of policy dealing with hostages for more than 200 years of American history. And it is both shameful and sad.

This action by President Obama is not only appalling. It is criminal. Yet another violation by this President and his disregard for the Rule of Law. If a Republican President did this, the Left would be calling for his resignation. But not so with He-who-can-do-no-wrong.

Barak Obama should resign the Office of President immediately or face impeachment for his high crimes against the United States of America. His lawlessness must be brought to an end and justice must prevail.

Once you start paying these pirates, they will all come to your door seeking more money to free hostages. It will become an epidemic. We had this issue with the Barbary Pirates in the 1800’s. For those that don’t know history, the Barbary Pirates were Muslims terrorists preying on others taking property and hostages. Forcing captives into slavery and worse. We put a stop to it back then and we must never again pay to have a hostage released.

No Deal or No Deal

Remember the Iran Deal, that great initiative from the State Department designed to get Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions? Well, it turns out Iran may not be following the spirit of the deal, in spite of following the letter of the deal.

Now, who could have seen that coming? I mean, aside from anyone not in the Obama Administration.

Not that I’m questioning the brilliance of the same Administration who came up with the brilliant concept of “hashtag diplomacy” and gave Samantha Power, Marie Harf, and John Kerry jobs. Far from it! I’m questioning the sanity of said individuals because no matter how you slice it, the Iran Deal makes the Minnesota Vikings giving up draft picks to get Hershel Walker seem brilliant. Come to think of it, that may be one of the conditions of the Iran Deal.

In the art of the deal, it takes two parties willing to negotiate in good faith for anything to happen. (Say…The Art of the Deal would be a great title for a book! Now, who would we get to write it?) If there are any misgivings or dishonesty, the deal will go south fast.

At the risk of metaphysical levels of understatement, Iran is not going to deal with us honestly, no matter what John Kerry says. How do I know this? Do I have a secret Bat Phone that connects me to Iran? Do I have more eyes and ears on the ground than a crash between trucks hauling potatoes and corn? Nope.

I understand Iran wants to kill us.

And I’m not sure John Kerry got the memo on that. It’s not like Iran is hiding its disdain for us, either. Their political and religious leaders out and out say it. Maybe we should chip in to get Rosetta Stone for the State Department so they can get up to speed quickly, or as quickly as the sloth-like government gets.

In the meantime, we’re having to deal with the consequences. Honestly, I believe Iran already has nuclear weapons (thanks in part to other countries who want us to go the way of “Hot Tub Time Machine 3”), and have a vested interest in playing a game with us. Think it won’t happen? Google “Hans Blix” and “Iraq WMDs” and get back to me.

Hopefully, the next President will be smart enough to tell Iran to take their deal and shove it. Until then, we should be prepared to watch Iran take more liberties, and watch President Obama and his State Department look like Joe Biden at a MENSA meeting.

Or on any given day.

Iranian Nuclear Deal

The Deal with Iran created by President Obama is only best for Iran. This deal is not good for the United States or any of its allies in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world for that matter. It opens the door for Iran to get everything that they want and when they want it. It will allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons which in turn will be used against us and Israel.

Given Iran’s history of deciet it is inconceivable that they will actually keep their side of any deal offered. They may agree to it, but they are not required to abide by it. Because they will use Islamic law which allows them to break deals with non-musliums.

This deal must be defeated. And if it is defeated by Congress, who is supposed to make our laws and treaties with other nations, President Obama has stated he will veto the measure anyway. If that happens then Congress must immediently reject it a 2nd time so that the President gets the message loud and clear.

My personal thoughts on this matter and given the history of our Congress which has no backbone. The following will happen. Congress with reject the Iranian Nuclear Deal and President Obama will veto the rejection. And then Congress will shrug it’s shoulders stating nothing can be done and we have to abide by it now.
