Crisis in Egypt

Again, just a little more than a year since the so-called “Arab Spring”. Egypt is again on the verge of a civil war between its various factions sparing for control of the government of this ancient nation. The “democratically” elected Muslim Brotherhood President has been removed from office by the military. The Egyptian constitution has been suspended. And no rights exist for anyone.

And around the world people as the questions of how did this happen when the people of Egypt ousted their dictator President Mubarak and democratically elected a new leader just last year. Well the answer to that is simple. Islam.

Yes I said it. Islam is why democracy did not work in Egypt. Besides democracy doesn’t work in the first place but that’s a topic for another day. Islam is opposed to any form of government of, by and for the people. Islam at it’s very core is a totalitarian regime, dictating every aspect of life for those that follow its path. It does not allow for government by the people. The masses are not to be trusted with such power.

But since Egypt has been Westernized for a long time, there are trickling awareness of what true freedom is like and this 2nd uprising within a year is the result of that awareness. The “Arab Spring” was the forced take over of one dictator by another and not the will of the people.
