Hello! I was forced to take a bit of a vacation last week due to Internet issues, but I’m back and I have a humdinger of a Lexicon entry this week.

Abortion has become a hot button issue in the past few weeks, almost as if…there’s an election coming up soon….With state laws in Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio limiting abortion options and political officials in New York State and Virginia seemingly saying abortion can be done up to and even after birth, both sides of the abortion debate are on edge more than people in a crack house next door to a police station. But I ran across a new term the Left is trying to use to promote their pro-baby-death position: reproductive freedom.

Put on your biohazard suits and have a barf bucket ready because this one is a doozy…

Someone in the Leftist PR department must have seen recent polling data showing more and more young people are deciding not to bump uglies and have abortions after the fact. The word “freedom” has a lot of power and emotional heft because we like the concept so much. Whether it’s people shooting off firecrackers on Independence Day (or several weeks before it, depending on where you live) or women fighting for what they consider to be a fundamental right, freedom comes in all shapes and sizes.

When paired with “reproductive,” we have a phrase that evokes the love we have as well as the desire to leave the room whenever abortion comes up in conversation. And, yes, this is by design. The Left loves to combine words to create a name that hits you in the heart while not giving you much to hang your brain on. All they want you to do is feel the way they want you to feel.

Of course, that only exercises part of your brain, but it’s the more important part. Whenever we discuss reproductive freedom, we need to think as well as feel. And when that happens, the Left can’t operate as effectively because it allows us to see behind the curtain.

Let’s deal with one important fact about the Left and reproductive freedom: the Left needs abortion to control women. You read that right, kids. The Left gets a lot of money and political power through promoting reproductive freedom, and they wield that power without considering any other possible position on the subject. If you are against reproductive women, it’s because you hate women.

That’s going to come as a big shock to the pro-life women out there.

And that’s not the only fact The Handsmaid’s Tale cosplayers ignore in their desire to obtain what they claim the want. If you really look at it, reproductive freedom is primarily slanted in favor of women. They claim it’s because old white religious men keep making laws that restrict their right to terminate a pregnancy. At the same time, they rely on old white semi-religious men and women to give them the upper hand in the sexual arena. Yet, it takes a man and a woman to create life. How exactly is that fair to men and women? Spoiler Alert: it isn’t. Reproductive freedom is designed to give women every benefit at the expense of men.

This is not to say men’s hands are clean when it comes to reproductive freedom issues. There are untold number of guys who fuck and run, leaving a woman to deal with the consequences of having intercourse before she was ready. Then, there are rape and incest victims to consider. Put simply, for every position on reproductive freedom, there is a position not considered, or at least not considered in full.

What isn’t so muddy is the fact reproductive freedom when practiced as the Left wants all but guarantees a bad result. Look at Planned Parenthood’s latest advertising blitz saying “Abortion Is Health Care.” That may be true, but it’s health care that guarantees at least one of the patients dies in the process. You wouldn’t go to a tire place where two of the tires will blow out while you’re driving, so why go to Planned Parenthood at all?

That’s where things get a little tricky. If you take Planned Parenthood at their word here, how can it be “healthcare” when Planned Parenthood officials are on video saying they sell baby parts after abortions? On the other side, if we accept the pro-life stance, how can we exclude cases of rape and incest as valid reasons to have an abortion, which is part of some of the legislation being proposed and/or signed into state law?

This is why we need to have a long, hard discussion about reproductive freedom so we can find common ground. The extremes don’t want an answer, but I’m willing to bet most of the country does if for no other reason than to have both extremes shut up for a change. And, no, dressing up like a vagina and holding a sign calling a fetus a parasite or yelling at young women that they’re going to Hell if they get an abortion isn’t helping. Instead, let’s do a bit of thinking.

Abortion rates have been declining for the better part of a decade. This means Planned Parenthood and the Left are losing power and influence, which means they have to do something to keep both. What better way than to rile up both sides to react in a way that will guarantee reproductive freedom gets front and center? Put another way, this whole push for reproductive freedom right now is all an act, and as long as we continue to take the bait the act will continue.

The only way that act will have its curtain call is if we talk, not as enemies, but as people with different perspectives. Once that happens, reproductive freedom loses its power and we can get to a better place on this subject.

The Left has a double standard when it comes to allegations against political figures. If it’s someone on the Right, the allegations (no matter how implausible) are enough to warrant action against him or her and to demand other conservatives and Republicans denounce that person. If it’s someone on the Left, however, we need to take our time to make sure the accused isn’t treated unfairly by a mob mentality, even if you have a notarized statement from the accused saying, “Yep, I did that.”

Enter current Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, who was seen wearing either black face or a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood in a photograph from the early-to-mid 1980s. And there’s more! The Washington Post did an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct from 2004 against Virginia’s Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax. The Post decided not to publish the results of their investigation because they did not find any corroboration. Let’s see…wasn’t there a recent Supreme Court nomination held up for a month due to uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct/assault that the Post among others published?

Why, yes. Yes, there was.

Waaaaaaaay back in September and October of that long-ago year of 2018, Brett Kavanaugh didn’t exactly get the Northam treatment by the press. Using uncorroborated testimony by a witness flakier than my Grandma’s pie crust, Kavanaugh was metaphorically crucified by the press, including a piece by the aforementioned WaPo stating the parents of the girls he was coaching in basketball should be concerned by the allegations levied against him. Look, the dude passed five background checks. If there was anything shady in his past, more than likely it would have been found out by now.

Now, before you Leftists start calling “whataboutism”, let me point something out to you. First off, the way you treated Kavanaugh versus the way you’ve treated Northam and Fairfax show a clear double standard and a logical inconsistency that deserves to be called out and criticized. Second, you were the ones who set the new rules of engagement, as it were, with regards to political hit jobs. You can’t cry foul when it’s your team getting called out. And third, with your recent track record of slandering first and asking questions never, you have zero room to call out any. Sit down and let Daddy drive.

The reason for the Left’s double standard here is clearly political, more specifically the politics of abortion. The Left justifies their tactics against Kavanaugh because of what they feel he would do to Roe v. Wade. The fact it was bad law aside, the Left has gained money and power by whipping up threats that the Right will outlaw abortion tomorrow if X happens. Yet, in spite of the multiple times X has happened and Roe is still the law of the land, Leftists keep buying into the fearmongering. (Never mind the fact Kavanaugh has repeatedly said he would not vote to overturn Roe.)

That brings us back to Northam. Last week, he supported a bill that would allow a mother to terminate her pregnancy up to the moment of birth if a doctor said it would hurt the mother’s health, including mental health. That’s not even a “clump of cells” anymore, kids. That’s a full-blown baby we’re dealing with here. And Northam tried to pass it off like no big deal. But since Northam is pro choice, or as I call it pro-baby-death, Leftists not only agreed with him, but cheered his decision.

Then, the picture surfaced and Northam became Chernobyl.

Put another way, the Left is okay with killing actual babies but not okay with black face and Klan robes.

The same dynamic is at work with Fairfax, albeit with circumstances far closer to Kavanaugh’s. The allegations against Fairfax are, as yet, unfounded, so I will be holding my judgment on whether he’s a sexual predator or falsely accused of being one, just as I did with Kavanaugh. But for the #MeToo #BelieveAllWomen pink hat brigade, you got some ‘splainin’ to do. You dragged a man through the mud on the basis of allegations flimsier than a Kleenex teddy because of what you think he might do to your unholy sacrament, but you’re silent when someone on your side is alleged to have done with just as flimsy of evidence? I’m sorry, but you don’t get to play that game with me. You either hold Fairfax to the same standard or you apologize to Kavanagh and his family for putting them through Hell for the sins of being nominated to the US Supreme Court by Donald Trump and being conservative.

And if you think I’m being too harsh, let me point out I’m being far more charitable than you were and still are to Brett Kavanaugh.

As far as Ralph Northam is concerned, I hope he sticks it out as long as possible, not because I justify his actions, but because it will continue to make Leftists look like the baby-killing hypocrites they are.

In a world of information, we seem to have access to all sorts of facts. Or at least, information we’re told are facts. Global climate change is a fact, according to some. The reporting on MAGA hat wearing teenagers in Washington, DC, was factual…kinda. Even CNN, the self-professed leader in cable news, tells us they’re committed to facts, even when they get facts horribly wrong. Many times, they’re too busy confusing their apples with bananas.

For centuries, philosophers have tried to determine what truth is, and Man has continued to question it in today’s landscape of 24 news programs, reporters as Leftist stenographers, and Internet and real life hoaxes becoming major stories. Do we even know what facts are anymore?

No, but at least there’s a topic for a Leftist Lexicon!

When it comes to facts, the Left isn’t always on speaking terms with them. Sure, they say they’re the “Party of Science” and “truth has a liberal bias,” but when science and truth clash with their ideology, more often than not they either pretend it doesn’t exist or find ways to talk around it.

Take abortion, for example. The Left denies a fetus is a human being, even though medical science confirms it. Instead, the Left calls the fetus a “clump of cells.” The funny thing is that description applies to pretty much every human being on the planet. And if the fetus isn’t human, what is it? A dog? A 1971 Dodge Charger in pristine condition? (Actually, if it were a 71 Charger, I’d be ecstatic.) In spite of the science, the Left wants to treat the fetus differently than, say, an endangered animal. Remember, some of these same Leftists who treat fetuses as clumps of cells got their collectivist panties in a wad over Donald Trump’s sons killing animals on safari.

Anybody want to try to square that circle?

The bedrock principle of a fact is that it’s based on what is, not what we want it to be. No matter how many flat earthers say the planet is as flat as a crepe sat on by Rosie O’Donnell, the planet is still roundish. A problem arises when dealing with humans, though. See, humans are about as logical as letting Ted Kennedy be the designated driver. (Because, well, he’s dead.) We bring our own baggage, blind spots, and ideological bents to any observable event, and that can make facts a little murkier than they should be.

I mentioned the Covington Catholic school kids in passing earlier, and this single event became the epicenter of a battle for truth. Even with a full video showing what happened, people took sides on what the facts of the case were to the point of inventing new narratives not based on the facts in play. Without even saying a word, one of the students was branded a racist, merely for wearing a red MAGA hat, which the Left says other racists have worn in support of Trump (who also happens to be a racist to the Left because he makes overt racism okay again, or something). Not only that, but a case of mistaken identity lead to death threats against the family of a student who wasn’t even there. Slight bit of an oops there, kids.

But these types of things are to be expected when we let emotions dictate what the facts are. Unfortunately, we’re in an age where emotions and perceptions create the factual baseline for our opinions, where “hot takes” that prove to be wrong are commonplace, and we emote first and ask questions never. It’s almost as if we feel we have to rush to tweet something without checking it out first because we get a thrill out of it or it gives us attention, which feeds our egos. Meanwhile, facts seem to be getting mugged in dark alleyways while pseudo-facts have become the gospel of the land.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

The first key to dealing in facts is to patiently gather information from multiple sources. Over time, you’ll figure out which sources can be trusted and which are the factual equivalent of junk food. Looking right at you, BuzzFeed. By the way, Gawker called and they don’t want their business model back, so it’s yours to keep…at least until you get sued into oblivion.

Once you have determined what sources to trust, keep checking them. Just because you trust them doesn’t make them infallible. And check everything you see, read, and hear against a little thing the kids call Occam’s Razor. Simply put, Occam’s Razor states the simplest answer is usually the right one. Throw in a bit of Sherlock Holmes-style deduction (which is pretty much Occam’s Razor with a twist of acknowledging the possibility of an improbable answer being correct), and you have your network of facts.

And on a side note, don’t trust any fact checking websites without visiting them. Most of them are partisan garbage and will insult your intelligence. If they have to tell you they’re fact checkers, they’re peddling themselves, not the truth. (Insert obligatory Bill Clinton/Anthony Weiner/Pee Wee Herman joke here.)

The most important thing to remember when fact checking on your own is to be patient. Very rarely will the truth appear to you with flashing neon lights with arrows pointing towards it. That’s only happened to me once or twice in my life and I think it was the NyQuil more than anything else that made it happen. Anyway, don’t jump on a bandwagon of information because someone else is doing it. The truth takes time to uncover, and a delayed factual response is better than a quick flawed one.

Just ask Gawker. Oh, wait…

Pro-Life or Pro-Choice

Lets look at abortion, this is going to be a big topic in the coming months as new pro-life laws are challenged in the Supreme Court. Especially since Justice Kavanaugh will be on the court to hear these cases.

I’m not going to go into the fact that the Court doesn’t Constitutionally have this power of review, since that is a topic for another post. And they think they do and We the People do nothing and let them have it.

The pro-choice side states that life begins when a baby is born. That a developing fetus is part of the mother and is just a mass of cells. No different from any others of her body. And that a woman can do anything with her own body and we, meaning the legislature I presume, cannot make any laws against what a woman can do with her own body.

The pro-life side states that life begins at conception. We do not equate the egg and sperm as a baby. They must unite in the spark of light for a baby to be conceived. Only the resulting union is a new life. The developing fetus in the mother’s womb is a separate individual. It is not a mass of cells any more than the mother herself is a mass of cells. Just the fetus cannot exist outside of the womb until it is fully developed.

It is a false argument to state that the legislature cannot make laws against what a woman, or a man for that matter, cannot do with their bodies. There are a multitude of such laws already in existence. It is illegal to be a prostitute. It is illegal to use the services of a prostitute. It is illegal to consume certain drugs before a specific age. It is illegal to consume certain drugs for any reason or condition. These are just the easy ones. Each of these restrict what a woman can do with her body. Where is the outrage?

Additionally we already have common law examples that a developing fetus is a separate human life. This is proven time and time again when a pregnant woman is murdered. The perpetrator is charged with TWO counts of murder. One for the mother. And one for the unborn child developing in her womb. If that developing fetus was just a mass of cells and part of the mother, there wouldn’t be two counts of murder, there would be only one charge and not two.

So here is where the pro-choice argument fails and shows that it is a matter of convenience and not a matter of truth. Because truth would show that either a developing fetus is either a mass of cells or it another human life. It cannot be both. Either the murderer is charged with 2 counts and abortion is a murder. Or the murderer is only charged with 1 count and abortion is just the removal of an unwanted cellular tissue mass, like cancer.

To be pro-choice is either grossly neive and confused. Or one is mentally ill or just purely wicked and evil.

Even before most of America knew Brett Kavanaugh’s name, Leftists were more scared than a Frenchman at a World War II reenactment that the new Supreme Court Justice would overturn Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that made it legal for women to get abortions. Whether it was talking about a “woman’s right to choose” or “healthcare for women”, the Left has it bad for protecting the Roe decision under any and all circumstances.

Including making themselves look like jackasses in the process.

I try not to delve too much into these serious issues much for two reasons. One, I will invariably evoke an emotional response out of a reader which tends to devolve into an online shouting match and open questioning of my lineage. And before we get there, my mother was not a female dog, so you can just drop it. The other reason is because trying to find a lighter touch on a hot-button issue like Roe v. Wade is like asking Lindsey Lohan to babysit while you’re off on a two month European vacation; it might be okay, but more than likely it’s going to wind up badly.

So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at Roe v. Wade.

Hopefully, I wasn’t too subtle with my opinion on the subject matter. I occasionally get accused of being obtuse.

In my younger days, I was pro choice for the same reason Bill Clinton is: to score with the ladies. Unlike Bill, however, it didn’t equate into so much as a second glance from women. On the other hand, I didn’t get impeached for using an immature intern as a personal humidor, so I got that going for me.

As I got older, I decided to do some research on the matter and read some of the legal arguments made in the Roe decision because I know how to party! Anyway, the gist of the arguments in favor of allowing a woman to have an abortion came down to an interpretation of when life began. The lawyers arguing in favor of abortion said British common law made it clear a baby could be terminated within the womb because it wasn’t recognized as a true human being.

Yeah, about that…seems British common law says nothing of the sort. In fact, there is a concept known as the “quickening” referring to a human’s life or spirit. To put it simply, our British ancestors believed a child in the womb had quickening and, thus, was a life. Kind of a problem for the pro choicers who say it’s just a “clump of cells”, wouldn’t you say?

Beyond that, the Supreme Court turned abortion into a federal issue because it broadened the Constitution to include a right that wasn’t really in there: the right to privacy. The arguments made to invent this right were based off the Due Process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, which has nothing to do with privacy at all. Here’s what it says:

No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

In other words…no state can make a law that doesn’t apply to everyone…which still has nothing to do with privacy.

For all of the legal, Constitutional, and emotional arguments in favor of keeping Roe v. Wade as is, there is one hard fact that the Left doesn’t want us to consider: abortion kills a baby almost every single time. It’s not a clump of cells. It’s not an unviable tissue mass. It’s not a part of a woman’s body. It is a baby. Full stop. With all of the blatant dishonesty and excuses, it’s hard to imagine how much fear the prospect of a child being allowed to come to term puts in the Left.

That’s because the Left makes serious bank off keeping Roe v. Wade in place. Any time a politician suggests even a slight restriction on abortion, the Left whips its supporters into a frenzy and asks them for money. The supporters send money (and dress up like giant vaginas for some reason) to Leftist politicians who will defend the right to kill babies in the womb. Then, sometimes these politicians get into positions where they can allocate federal tax dollars to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood (not directly of course because it would be illegal) who then pays executives with said funds who then turn around and donate money back to the politicians who got them the tax dollars to begin with. No matter how much the Left tries to launder the funds they use for abortion clinics, it is literally blood money.

As much as I disdain abortion as a practice, Roe v. Wade will remain unaffected at least for now. Even with Brett Kavanaugh’s potential appointment to the Supreme Court, it would still take a legal challenge to Roe before any judge, let alone a Supreme Court Justice, would get a chance to render a verdict. But the Left still needs to keep that sweet abortion cash flowing into its coffers (especially considering the DNC makes Arthur Andersen look fiscally responsible). That means maintaining the lies they’ve told since the original court case was settled.

But now that you know some of the ins and outs of the lies, you can be ready to address the lies when they’re told.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is tired of talking about Planned Parenthood. (And, to be honest, I’m tired of Chief Running Mouth talking, period.) She says she keeps doing it because Republicans keep talking about all the bad stuff Planned Parenthood does and she needs to talk about all the good stuff they do.

And she’s not alone. Millions of men and women take up arms every time Republicans start talking about defunding Planned Parenthood because they feel the group does good work. It’s almost as if they’re Indiana Jones trying to protect the Ark of the Covenant from the Nazis. So, are they right? Let’s find out!

Yep. I went there.

Abortion is one of those hot button issues that people tend to avoid like most people avoid a recent Amy Schumer movie. To adequately discuss Planned Parenthood, however it’s necessary to at least touch it considering it’s what they do. So, let me be crystal clear about what they do.

They kill babies for money while offering other services on the side that don’t generate money by and large.

Sorry I had to sugarcoat it like I did. Hopefully you will forgive me.

Sure, PP defenders will point out only 2-3% of what they do is performing abortions, and if you look at their numbers, you would think that’s right. But as Leftists who propose tax hikes on the rich will point out, it’s not the percentage that matters; it’s the amount of money that does. And when it comes to abortions, Planned Parenthood makes money hand over baby fist. Hey, those exotic sport cars don’t pay for themselves, right?

And that’s why I say Planned Parenthood makes money off lying to people. There is the public face, the one that makes their activities seem as innocuous as a lemonade stand, but there is the private face, where that lemonade stand starts making sausage. And when you have two faces, not only do you go through a lot of face cream, but you also have a vested interest in maintaining the public face and hide the private face.

For many years, Planned Parenthood was able to maintain the public face successfully by painting the people opposing them as religious zealots, moral reprobates, and intellectually backwards. Then, the Center for Medical Progress threw open the curtain to expose PP’s private face, showing them to be all about the money (and exposing their side job: selling baby parts).

Remember how Gollum obsessed over Bilbo’s ring? The Left made him seem like a man in a coma with their reaction to the Center’s videos. Instead of addressing the footage, they threw out every excuse in the book, including their favorite, “they were heavily edited.” Yeah, except for the fact they weren’t.

And that’s what I meant when I talked about the vested interest earlier. Planned Parenthood can’t defend what it does in private, so it has to divert attention away from it in the hopes the public face can be maintained. But it’s working as well as having Bill Clinton leading a couples weekend to work on marital fidelity. Republicans rightly took a look at federal funding for Planned Parenthood in light of the videos, and Leftists screamed about Republicans stripping away health care for women.

Yeah, there’s a tiny problem with that. Planned Parenthood doesn’t do a lot of actual health care. Remember it was only a few years ago that Planned Parenthood and their allies fought a Texas provision that would require their clinics meet minimum sanitary standards that hospitals and medical clinics have to meet. Why would that be?

Could it be…because PP’s clinics would fail miserably? Why, yes…yes it could!

And you don’t have to take my word for it. With a little online research, you can find former PP employees talking about how unsanitary their clinics are. Now, compare that to the PP talking points about them wanting abortions to be “safe.” One would think if PP was concerned about safety, they would want their clinics to be as sanitary as possible. Then again, if PP was really concerned about safety, they wouldn’t be in the abortion business in the first place, but that’s just me.

Let me be perfectly clear. I understand Planned Parenthood does good things for people who may not have another option. I do not have an issue with them providing these services. But it’s dishonest to downplay what they do aside from these services. There needs to be an honest accounting of what PP does and doesn’t do (like mammograms, contrary to what they and their supporters claim) so we can make an honest assessment.

And along with that honest accounting, I think we need an actual accounting of the money Planned Parenthood gets from the federal government. The Left is quick to point out the Hyde Amendment makes it illegal to use federal funds for abortions, but it’s also legally questionable for non-profits to contribute directly to political candidates, and guess what PP does. Yep, they donate to political candidates through their PAC. And in the world of partisan politics, co-mingling of funds is far too common. To make sure Planned Parenthood is following the letter of the law, let’s see their books.

Unless, of course, PP is trying to hide its private face again…

Today the Supreme Court struck down a Texas law requiring abortion clinics to have the same cleanliness standards as a hospital. As a result, abortion rights activists have been happier than Bill Clinton at a sorority of nymphomaniacs when Hillary is on the campaign trail. But what is abortion to a Leftist? Let’s find out!

A little over the top? Not really, when you consider the lengths the Left will go to in order to protect the practice as it currently stands.

Take the Texas law referenced above, for example. The Left opposed making abortion clinics as sanitary as other medical facilities. Let that sink in for a moment. The Left opposed making abortion clinics, where a medical procedure is performed, as sanitary as a hospital, where medical procedures are performed.

From the same people who claim abortion is a women’s health issue.

Don’t try to understand it, folks. You’ll only get a migraine.

At the head…err heart…ummm…at the forefront of the abortion rights fight is Planned Parenthood. On the surface, they appear to be defenders of women young and old alike. They oppose government intervention into a woman’s sexual life and want everyone to be free to make their own decisions. Seems pretty innocuous, right?

Well, that’s where things can get a little muddy. Planned Parenthood does a great job in coming up with more euphemisms than parents trying to explain sex to a three year old. Even though they won’t come out and say it, they do a lot of abortions. And by a lot, I mean 327,653 according to Planned Parenthood themselves in their 2013-2014 annual report.

Now, how much do you think it would cost to get an abortion at Planned Parenthood? For a first trimester abortion, these hardworking, honest, and well-meaning people get up to $1500 per procedure. Granted, they also say it may be much less, but they don’t come out and say how much it costs. (Good thing they take Medicaid!)

Let’s run some numbers. The Guttmacher Institute (the research arm of…Planned Parenthood) and the Centers for Disease Control estimate 89-92% of all abortions occur within the first trimester. Taking the low end of this range and assuming Planned Parenthood’s percentage matched it, that would mean PP performed 291,611 first trimester abortions. If each procedure cost $1500, that would mean a net windfall of $437,416,500.

Of course, it’s likely only a fraction of the first trimester abortions performed would be $1500. Even if only 10% of the abortions cost $1500, we’re still dealing with $43,741,650. Let’s go even further and say only 1% cost $1500. Still a decent take-home of $4,374,165.

So, why did I run these numbers? To establish a simple concept: Planned Parenthood has no fiscally responsible reason to want there to be fewer abortions. And when you consider the political fundraising arm of Planned Parenthood tends to skew more Left than NPR run by Bolsheviks (in other words, NPR), the Left has no politically responsible reason to want there to be fewer abortions.

And when the Leftists in Congress give Planned Parenthood over a half billion dollars in federal tax dollars? Let’s just say I haven’t seen this much cycling since the Tour de France.

We can (and probably will) argue about the legal, moral, and personal implications of abortion until the cows come home, sleep on the couch, promise to look for a job tomorrow, and then move out to go back to college to get that Bovine Studies degree. At the end of the day, though, the abortion rights side of the argument needs there to be more babies being aborted to sustain itself.

Taking innocent life to sustain a political and monetary agenda. If that isn’t unholy, I don’t know what is.

Donald Trump’s statement the other day wasn’t well thought out. It was just the beginning of an idea that he shared. And the reaction was typical of all parties. They all hate Trump and seek to destroy him even if they agree with him.

I have been around others in the pro-life movement who believe the very words that Donald Trump spoke. That if abortion was illegal and a woman received an illegal abortion, thus breaking the law, that she should be punished in some way.

The same goes for anyone violating any other law. Otherwise why do we even have laws if there is no punishment for breaking them?

But those in the pro-life movement wont speak up outside of their small intimate circles and defend Donald Trump. Because it isn’t Politically Correct to say such things. And since most are politicians or in the public eye. It’s bad press until they win the fight against abortion.

Are they and Donald Trump right? Should women who get an illegal abortion be punished?

That is a question that will need to be answered in the due course of time. And we can thank Donald Trump for bringing it out of the shadows and into the light of day.
